A Visit to the San Francisco Quilt Show 2023
Martine, Conne, Joni, Misun and Misun's friend June went to this beautiful exhibit March 24th. I photographed a few of the quilts. I hope you enjoy seeing them. If you have photos you'd like me to add, please send them to me and I'll post them on this blog. If there is no label, I couldn't reach it, sorry!
If you can't see the detail too well, please try on your desktop computer.

These photographed more brightly than they looked!

This quilt was made from our own Bobbi Finley's book. What a treat to see it.

Note the metallic rubber stamp.

I love the use of the ombre fabric!

These colors aren't as striking as I remember.

I even love this jacket!

You've got to love the bottom border...or is it fringe?

Aren't the ribbons nice? Each one has a different assortment of ribbons woven over a covered button.
🎊
I admire the way the panel was cut up to make several vignettes.

You should see the quilted detail! So much opulence and even Chinese takeout containers. There are wee plastic Mah Jong tiles attached too. What a fun masterpiece.

Check out the tiny spaceship charm!
